Content Selection Policy of Asian Digital Library

The Asian Digital Library developed basic criteria to evaluate and select the peer reviewed journals for indexing in its database.  A number of factors are taken into consideration when evaluating journals for coverage in the ADL.

Following is the minimum criteria to select a journal for coverage in ADL.

Minimum criteria:

  • The journal should have an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN)
  • The journal should follow the publishing standards (peer review, timeliness, ethical publishing practices)
  • International Editorial Board
  • International Focus
  • Publication policies
  • Good publishing practices
  • Integrity

The Asian Digital Library reserves the right to immediately reject an application or remove a journal after inclusion if any information submitted is found to be falsified. Any instance of deception by the journal will result in immediate removal from the database.
